Attention All Volunteers!

If you plan on chaperoning field trips, driving, helping out in the classroom or volunteering anywhere on LAA's campus, you must complete Verified Volunteers online training and background check. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to
  2. Click the blue "First-Time Registrant" button.
  3. Under "Select Your Organization" for "Pick Type", select Seventh-day Adventist. For "Union Level", select Southern. For "Conference Level", select Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, then click Confirm.
  4. Read the presidents' message, then click NEXT.
  5. Complete the User Login Data, then click Next Step.
  6. Continue entering all requested information and clicking Next Step until complete.
  7. Once you complete all the course modules, a completion certificate will be displayed on-screen.
  8. Print off the certificate.
  9. Follow the steps on the website to order your background check (no cost).
  10. Bring a copy of the completion certificate to the school office.
